Our Recruiting Process
We try to keep our application process simple and flexible. However, we have detailed the various steps for you below so that you can always clearly see which stage you are currently at:
Step 1
After receiving your application, we will usually get back to you within a few days with our feedback - either by e-mail or by phone.
Step 2
We arrange a digital introductory meeting to get to know each other, with two of our colleagues present.
Step 3
After getting to know each other, we invite you to an approx. 3-hour trial work session in one of our offices in Bremen or Starnberg.
Step 4
We clarify final details and prepare your contract. We are usually flexible with your start date and not tied to the 1st of the month.
Step 5
You will be welcomed by your mentor, become part of our weekly jour fixes and quickly get to know the entire team and our projects.

Any open Questions?

How do I apply for a job or internship and who can I send my application to?You are welcome to apply either via LinkedIn, our website or directly by email to karriere@plus-rasmussen.com. Feel free to address your application to our colleague Paula.
-
Can I apply even if I don't have the required experience?Of course you can! In fact, we encourage you to apply to us even if you come from a different field or don't have a great depth of experience. The most important thing for us is whether you have the right attitude to develop yourself and grow with us!
-
What opportunities do you offer for remote work (including working students)? Our job descriptions state: “We work from home, at the customer's premises and in our offices - depending on the tasks at hand.” - For us, the mix of being in the office or at the client's premises and still working remotely is particularly important. That's why we want working students to have the opportunity to visit the office regularly. Nevertheless, we are flexible, work often remote due to our two offices and do not set any fixed rules.
-
Do I need to prepare specifically for the interview/trial work?We do not believe that you need to prepare specifically for the trial work. We want to get to know you better on this day and understand how you work - at the same time you should have the opportunity to get to know us and our work. Of course, you can always bring questions with you and it certainly doesn't hurt to find out a little about +R on LinkedIn or our website ;)

What does the on-boarding look like? Is there a mentoring program? In our on-boarding , you will receive intensive support from a mentor. Together you will go through the most important administrative matters and make sure that you get on well with the team. Your mentor will then try to involve you in their tasks so that you quickly get to know our projects and the team. You will also draw up a development plan and have regular check-ins/feedback points with your mentor.

What does it mean that you have a “Danish” corporate culture? Our founder Niels Rasmussen is originally from Denmark, but has been based in Starnberg for over 20 years. Thanks to Niels, our culture is very Danish (in Germany you would probably call it a “modern” culture) - this means we are a very self-organized team in which we lead each other and work on project-based projects. There is also a high level of internal transparency, e.g. about current financial developments, projects or even mistakes that happen. At the same time, we involve the team in important decisions, e.g. the development of our own strategy or our corporate culture. We all maintain good personal relationships with each other and healthy and sustainable growth is at the heart of our work - for our customers, but also for ourselves and everyone who works at +R.
Over the last few months, we have collected some of the questions we have been asked most frequently by applicants and want to give you the chance to get to know us better in advance - maybe there are already some questions (& answers) that you have already wondered about!
